The plans for the 45th year class reunion are complete. We are really excited for this event and hope that you will be able to attend for a fun week-end. The schedule is:
Friday-August 19, 2011 We will have an informal get together at the new Jerome Community Center
located at 520 North Lincoln Avenue in Jerome at 7:00 p.m. Finger foods
will be provided. There will be a no host bar.
Saturday-August 20, 2011 We will have dinner at the Jerome Country Club . There will be a no-
host bar at 6:30. Pictures are scheduled to be taken at 7:00.
Sunday-August 21, 2011 Everyone is invited to the Jerome Country Club for a breakfast brunch at
10:00 a.m.
Saturday morning we will have a golf scramble at the Jerome Country Club at 10:00 a.m.. Fees for golfing will be collected at the course upon sign up. The cost for golf is $30 for 18 holes. The cost for the cart is $10. We will need to know in advance if you are planning on playing so that we will have enough tee times.
We are planning the Snake River Canyon Tour again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. The trip runs from Centennial Park located near the Perrine Bridge down to Ferry Crossing and then up the river to Pillar Falls and back to the dock. The trip takes approximately 1 hour. The cost for the trip is $18 per person. If you haven’t taken this trip it is really enjoyable.
Also, if there is enough interest, we have another option for Saturday 9:00 a.m. until noon. There is a historical tour available. It starts at the Jerome County Historical Society Museum and continues on to the Idaho Farm & Ranch Museum , then to the Hunt Camp Memorial Site, then to the Stricker Ranch south of Hansen and returning to the depot. Tour guides would be available at each site. Cost would be approximately $18.00 if we have at least twenty people.
Cost for the week-end will be $50 per person. The tours or the golf are not included in this fee. We will have to confirm reservations so if we could have a reply by July 15th, it would be greatly appreciated. We have had a lot of interest in this reunion so we are looking forward to this being the best yet!
